I love Miranda but even celebrities sometimes are a clueless. The fact that she avoids all meats because she heard it from someone at an Ivy League school is laughable. Proof of this is the fact that this interview took place when she was 38 and she’s now 40 and she incorporates meat in her diet now. My mother was a nurse and she has hundreds of stories to tell about old people who came into her hospital with broken bones. A key factor they all had in common was that they were vegans/ hippies from the 60s and 70s. But now that they are senior citizens and their bones are just plain brittle. People who are vegan are only thinking about their present health and mostly for looks but your looks are not going to help you when you get older and you have no muscle mass and your bones are brittle. Just be aware when you are listening to these interviews and do your own research based on what you want for your own life not just try to copy exactly what a celebrity is doing.

What a great conversation! I'm a truly old woman in the US - I just started HRT - going out on a limb at age 68. So far, so good, but it's been a VERY deep dive. I ALMOST went the compounded route simply because I had not yet found the alternatives. Now taking estradiol patch, oral micronized progesterone and estrogen cream for the vagina. I am using up my NuvaRing first....

So clearly there’s no correlation with hormone production and breast cancer risk so the bigger question is why are doctors pushing these treatments on women?
